Terms for the proposed paid Google Sheets add-on, adapted to its actual email workflow.

1. Operator and acceptance
AI Email Automation is operated by the legal entity to be identified before publication. Installing or using the add-on indicates acceptance of the published terms. A person acting for an organization must have authority to do so. This draft is not yet a binding customer contract.
2. The service
The add-on helps a sender manage contact rows, templates, campaigns, follow-ups, sending, and reports in Google Sheets. It sends through the connected Google account and can optionally use Google Analytics 4 and a user-provided OpenAI API key. It is not a separate email-service provider or a guarantee of deliverability.
3. Account and access
A valid Google account, authorization for the requested scopes, and access to the relevant spreadsheet are required. The user is responsible for account security and for any administrator approvals required by their Google Workspace organization.
4. Annual subscription and launch offer
The proposed subscription is annual: US$49 per year, with a proposed 50% launch discount of US$24.50 for the first year. Checkout is not connected. The live purchase flow must disclose the final currency, taxes, payment processor, renewal, cancellation, refund rules, and plan entitlements before any payment is taken. OpenAI API use through the user’s own key is charged separately by OpenAI.
5. Permitted use and sender responsibilities
The sender must have a lawful basis to contact recipients, provide any required notice or unsubscribe mechanism, honor opt-outs, and comply with applicable privacy and anti-spam rules. Do not use the add-on for deceptive, unsolicited, fraudulent, abusive, or illegal campaigns. The sender is responsible for message content, attachments, contact lists, and recipient complaints.
6. Google and third-party services
Google Sheets, Gmail, Drive, Apps Script, and optional Google Analytics 4 are governed by Google terms and quotas. Optional AI is governed by OpenAI terms. Changes, outages, or restrictions in those services may affect the add-on. The add-on cannot override Google sending limits or Workspace administrator policies.
7. Data and privacy
The Privacy Policy describes the add-on’s access to and use of Google user data, optional AI requests, attachments, and analytics. Users control their Google spreadsheets and the permissions they grant. The terms must not imply that the operator owns recipient lists or may use them for unrelated purposes.
8. Intellectual property and license
The operator retains rights to the add-on’s code, design, and brand. A paid subscription would grant a limited, non-exclusive right to use the add-on under the purchased plan. The user retains rights to their own contact data, templates, and messages and grants only the processing permissions necessary to provide the requested features.
9. Updates and availability
The add-on may change to improve security or functionality. Material changes to these terms should be published with an effective date and notice where required. No uptime promise or support-service level is stated in this draft.
10. Suspension and termination
Access may need to be restricted for abuse, unlawful use, security risks, or nonpayment once billing is active. Users can revoke Google permissions and uninstall the add-on. The final terms must define cancellation timing, remaining subscription access, and refunds before purchase.
11. Warranties, liability, and disputes
Email delivery, engagement tracking, AI outputs, and third-party availability cannot be guaranteed. AI-generated text must be reviewed before sending. Limits of liability, governing law, and dispute resolution require counsel review and the operator’s legal identity before binding terms are published.
